Who We Are
Vyas Peeth (vyaspeeth.com, also reachable at nextych.in) is run by GuruGyan Consulting, India. For any privacy question or request, contact [email protected].
What We Collect
- Account details: your name, the email address you log in with, and your phone number if you contact us by WhatsApp.
- Purchase details: the plan you bought, the amount, date and payment reference. We do not receive or store card numbers or bank passwords; payment providers handle those.
- Login records: when you log in, we record the time, your IP address and the type of device and browser (for example “Chrome on Windows”). We use this to keep your login to you alone (one person, up to 2 devices) and to protect accounts from misuse.
- Password: stored only in scrambled (hashed) form; we cannot see it.
- Your practice work: answers, case versions, mock exam results and study activity are saved in your browser and, while you are signed in to a paid course, also to your account, so your progress follows you to any device you use. We use this only to run your course and, if you ask, to review your progress with you. Free demos and free practice are not saved to any account.
Other Information
- Enquiries: the name, email or WhatsApp number, organisation and message you send through a form or the Ask Us chat, used to reply to you.
- Certificates: if you claim a certificate, anyone with its ID can check your name, course, level, score and date on the Verify page.
- Sales Partners: if you buy using a partner’s code, that partner sees your first name, the plan and the amount, so their commission can be worked out.
Tax Data in the Lab
The training uses fictional data. Do not enter or upload real taxpayer information. Files you import are read inside your browser and are not stored on our servers.
Why We Use It
- To give you access to the plans you paid for and verify your login.
- To answer your questions and send important notices about your account or the training.
- To keep accounting records required by law.
We use your data with your consent and to perform our contract with you. We do not sell your data and we do not show advertising.
Who We Share It With
- Cloudflare, which hosts the website and stores student accounts and login records.
- Payment providers you choose to pay through.
- Authorities, only where the law requires it.
Cloudflare may process data in countries outside India under its own privacy and security commitments.
Cookies and Browser Storage
We use two login cookies (one keeps you logged in, one recognises your device so your login works on up to 2 of your devices) and a referral cookie that remembers, for up to 60 days, a partner or referral code from a link you opened, so the right person is credited. Your practice answers and settings are also kept in your browser’s storage, and the site can work offline using a small cached copy of public pages. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How Long We Keep It
Account details are kept while your access is active and for up to 12 months after it ends, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Purchase records are kept for as long as accounting and tax laws require.
Your Rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other laws that apply to you, you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, and nominate someone to act for you. Email [email protected]; we reply within 30 days.
Grievances
If you have a complaint about how we handle your data, write to our grievance contact at [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
Some courses, such as CBSE Class 10, are for school students. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should buy the course and agree to this policy for you, and you should use the site with their consent.
Security
The site uses HTTPS everywhere, passwords are hashed, repeated wrong attempts are blocked, and only GuruGyan Consulting can manage student access.
Changes
We will post any change on this page with a new effective date, and email active students about significant changes.
